A main mixer for mixing processes, composed of two dispersing shafts and two kneading shafts, representing a typical mixer design.
Product Features
Widely used in secondary battery and food/pharmaceutical industries, this mixer features high-speed rotating blade-shaped blades that finely chop and disperse agglomerated materials, while low-speed kneading blades perform the kneading function. The high-speed and low-speed shafts rotate independently and orbit within the container, enabling high-speed dispersion and mixing of materials inside. It is the most widely used main mixer for secondary batteries.
Product Advantages
Mixing a wide range of materials from low to high viscosity
Capable of mixing materials across a broad viscosity range, including up to 1,000,000 cPs. The speed of the rotating shafts is controlled by an inverter, allowing adjustment to the required RPM for various products.
Tank with jacket for heating and cooling
To enhance mixing efficiency, a jacket is installed on the outside of the mixing tank, enabling heating or cooling by supplying thermal energy. The heat source can be water or thermal oil.
Safety features with interlock functionality during operation
An area sensor is installed to ensure operator safety. If entry is detected within the sensing area while the equipment is operating, it automatically stops. Additionally, a dual hardware safety device prevents the mixing tank from falling due to control or mechanical failure when it is elevated.
Vacuum operation through vacuum hood and vacuum seal
During the mixing process, bubbles may form depending on the material properties. To remove microbubbles generated during mixing, the mixing tank is designed to operate under vacuum conditions.
