Northbolt's growth is expected to accelerate as it has established cooperative relationships with global automobile companies such as Volkswagen and BMW and has secured large-scale funds. “Three companies, including CIS, Korea Vacuum, and Jeil Machinery, exported lithium-ion secondary battery production facilities worth $149 million (approximately KRW 178 billion) to Northvolt to provide some of the funds for this.”
